At the end of a quiet lane in a quintessential Devonshire village, you will discover the romance of this picture-postcard, Wisteria-covered thatched cottage. This Tudor home offers all the comforts and conveniences of the 21st century while retaining its charming period character.

Push open the solid oak door and discover a downstairs full of original features, an exposed brick fireplace and stone floors are given a classic, contemporary vibe thanks to the soft, light furnishings and decor. 

Take your time over a coffee in the bright and airy kitchen, where modern classics like the Rangemaster oven compliment the traditional Butler sink.

On English summer mornings, the pretty gardens tempt you to dine outside and enjoy a restful breakfast accompanied by only birdsong and the gentle babble of the stream which runs through one of the cottage’s two large gardens. 

On balmy evenings, enjoy supper cooked on the charcoal BBQ, perhaps enjoying the spoils of a successful fishing trip off the wildlife-rich North Devon coast.

After long days dolphin spotting, collecting shells and exploring rock pools, luxuriate in the roll-topped bath or wash off the surf in one-of-two rainstyle showers. Step out onto heated floors and head downstairs for a relaxing evening in the stylish living areas.

Oak-panelled walls and exposed timber beams create a cosy atmosphere in the lounge. Sink into one of the deep, comfy sofas under a wool blanket with a glass of wine and a good book.
